This world is struck with selfishness. It is malicious and can spread like cancer cells. Love seems to be the only medicine but chances of a complete cure are remote.

Can you think for me?

You can think yourself to the extent that you are!
No kidding. In plain language, you just cannot think for any other living being. After all, every body has got his/her own brains. I believe a person's thought process is totality of his childhood upbringing, societal influence, etc. Every teeny weenie incidents of his past shape his thought process.

A prostitute can only long for the luxuries of Paris Hilton. May be she can go to the extent of thinking that she is Paris Hilton. Sure she can. But her understanding and thought process of Hilton hotel chains would be very different. May be she could delight customers more than Paris Hilton. No pun intended. After all there is no stopping to your thought process. You can definitely think you are a Spiderman. But for god's sake, please don’t try to spin your cobwebs.

Wait a min. What about those supreme states of consciousness like in yoga where people's thoughts match and they can feel for each other. May be they don’t speak a word. May be they don’t speak the same tongue. Tongues apart, what is the force binding each other? Do we really understand them? It is quite complicated. May be my thought process is biased because I think just like me. May be I should think for them too. Well can you please think for me? Please can you?

Some kind of a Monster

Little we know about this cruel world. Exceptions arise in every corner. Few are armed to battle while many are to be killed brutal. A battle is necessary to end the traumas. Against what? Some kind of a Monster?

Change is welcome. The battle is to begin. Sharpen your saws. Here they come! One by one! All the monsters! Unleash the beast in you. Sooner the better!

Vinayak Chaturthi

Yesterday, I along with my 2 company mates (Prashant and Konda) had a great Vinayak chaturthi darshan. We have planned to visit Sidhi Vinayak temple at Dadar. As per our planning, we started early morning and the traveling was nearly one and half-hours from our place of stay (and that too in the early morning 6 am). We reached the temple at 8 am but could not enter the temple premises, as there was a long queue. We had to wait in that long queue for our darshan, which simulated a mini Tirupathi experience. After nearly a 2-hour wait, we had the darshan of Ganesh bhagwan. The darshan was very short because the security-in-charges forced/requested people to move fast to facilitate darshan for all the devotees. An inevitable situation! . Now you know why I said it as a mini Tirupathi experience. After all, sizeable Mumbai population was there that day waiting for Ganapathi Baba's darshan.

We could see the Star, Zee, Sahara TV personnel busily preparing for their 10 sec archive to be featured during the TV news of their respective TV Channels. Contrary to what we see in the channels, these professional were all tensed and were practicing the sentences like small kids preparing their nursery rhymes. Reality is altogether different from what we see in Television.

After the Darshan, we had plenty of time at our disposal. So we thought of visiting the Maha Lakshmi temple, another happening place at Mumbai. The divine darshan of Devi Ma brought a great satisfaction to our spiritual minds. The temple is situated at the banks of the sea. Though we could not experience the freshness and energy of the sea waves (the temple authorities have built a very strong fence to enable only a "See sea experience"), the very sight of the sea itself has instantly refreshed our memories. Thousands of chloromint at one chew ;)

Then we did a little shopping and finally returned back to our guesthouse. The time was 7:00 pm. There was a Ganesh Bajan happening at adjacent apartments. Oh boy. I can’t ask for anymore. The bajan session was a perfect culmination to the days’ activities. It was really a great Ganesh Chaturthi festival and will definitely be an experience to remember. :)

Google Search

Getting information from the net is easy. But is it all that RELEVANT? Searching Google is definitely an art especially if you are aware about the basics of search features. Gone are those days where people used to sit before green color Unix consoles to hack the corporate servers. Now with Google search, getting information is very easy. Hey… I am not discussing hacking here, just searching using Google. But it can get credit card numbers, passwords, etc. You will have to ensure your safety so that you won’t fall trap to these features.

Remember Google caches the website particulars in its own site. So that way even if you remove information from your corporate site, Google’s cached site will always display the information. Google Vs Microsoft

Here is my take on this interesting topic. I have analysed the situation by taking a neutral stand. I dont have any strong liking or disliking on any of these companies ;)

Google at Present

Google has morphed into a software company and is emerging as a major threat to Microsoft's dominance. Google’s software can be used with any Internet browser to search the web and desktop. Google brands like Gmail, Picassa, Blogger are leaders in email, photo editing, blogging respectively. Moreover they are also free. Google can emerge ultimate software leader with innovations like local-area search complete with maps and satellite photos, ways to search inside a video file, and search designed for cellphones.

Google’s Aggressive Business Activities

Google is inheriting operating system features too, like desktop search. Google's desktop search can locate any program, document, photo, music file, or e-mail on a computer. Google can extend this feature and can build its own operating system or office application like “Google Office”.

Many Microsofties has joined Google creating panic for Microsoft’s management.

Google has innovated online advertising. Its automated system gathers information regarding user's search request and then delivers discrete matching ads alongside the results.

Microsoft’s decision to build Google Killer (SWOT Analysis)

Strengths
1. Windows operating system is the major strength to Microsoft. It can produce superior software applications that function well with its OS.
2. Microsoft has plenty of money to buy the rights to information and content; it also owns powerful digital-rights-management software, which helps copyright holders control who uses their products and how often.

Weakness
1. The effort has taken longer, cost more money, and exposed more big-company problems at Microsoft than anyone imagined.
2. No matter what innovations Microsoft do, Google and Yahoo seem to do better.
3. There's no quick and easy way to lure away Google's online advertisers.

Opportunities
1. Targeted online advertising has indeed become a gold mine. Still in its infancy, it's one of the hottest sectors in high tech, a $5-billion-a-year market growing at some 40% annually.
2. Possibility of integrating search into future versions of Windows and Office

Threats

1. Google’s successful desktop search can trigger many such innovations and can even lead to the creation of Google’s own version of Office applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
2. Any attempt to bundle search with Microsoft products will probably be scrutinized by antitrust regulators. Microsoft cannot undercut the price of Google software to suit its copyright operating system, as Google is already free.

Chasing the dreams

This week is going to be important in my life. The success of the events would sure brighten my life. God help me to taste the victory I have been longing for. I know I will. Sure I will....

I am an MGE

I think I am getting addicted to internet a lot. Thanks to google, portals, serach engines, etc. I can get readymade documents to make reports, songs to listen, gals(?) to flirt, etc. I can now proudly call myself as an MGE, Masters in Google Engineering.

Virtual Friends

Thanks to the internet. Creating friends is very easy these days. John can become a friend to mary without seeing her. He can even ask her to marry.No kidding. Do Johns really know that Mary's are actually females? These mary's could be whores looking for potential customers to date or could be old women deprived of socialising with men or could be eunuchs.

Does virtual frienship men healthy friendship? Does it mean that these people are actually devoid of real friendship in the world?

CCP Technology

Powering the modern world

CCP Technology which powers the needs of college graduates, needs a special mention in my discussion today. The technology is popularized by the software professionals. The technology is a definite blessing to all those who struggle to keep pace with the demands of the changing technology.

Initially CCP technology was programming based. Sooner the technology was extended to fields other than programming. The technology is user friendly. Its success depends upon the intellectual of the individual who is using it.

Engineering graduates invented this technology. Their enginnering drawing classes are extensively used with CCP. Owing to its instant success, the technology became popular among non-engineering graduates also. Even the school students use this technology effectively for their career.

Presently the office space is also changing to benefit maximum from this technology. The competitors use this technology to analyze the strategies of their rivals efficiently. Thanks to CCP technology which promises to fulfill the requirements of the modern world. CCP is abbreviated for Cut-Copy-Paste. When are you shifting to this technology?

Winner's Curse

You would have heard about the Winner's curse.
A girl friend is a perfect illustration to that theory. If you win a beatiful gal and make her ur GF, you think u r the blessed soul by the good god. Liitle you know about the curse you are put forth. You got to spend hell lot of money to keep the relationship ticking. What seemed so adoring is actually a curse in disguise.
It depends on individuals perspective, how they look this issue. If you ask me, I would say it is a choice between money and the gal. I agree to Money cant buy you anything. But if you dont have money you cant buy anything for ur GF. So money is the driving force unless if there is anything called True Love which I see only in movies.

Mocking Bird

Five more minutes. Good God. Just 5 more mins. I will be chatting with her. She said she would come online at 9 pm. Today I will tell her. May be it is time to get personal with her. May be I am acting dumb. Yes I will. Today I will.
What if she says no? She wont. She said she likes me very much. But she knows very little about me and so am I. If she says yes, that will be a good relief to my troubled soul.
MockingBird. There she comes online in messenger. True to her id, her memories taunts me everyday. Today I will tell her. Yes. Today I will!
On the other side of the wired network, MockingBird is busy chatting with men whoom she considers as potential customers.

Morning Sleep

I could hear it. Its ringing. The tunes are changing. Oh I like this tune too. Let me hear it one more time. Gosh I really need some more sleep.
Nothing can please me like a good morning sleep. Yesterday night, I fixed the alarm at 6:30 am. I thought I would get up early and finish off the pending work. But now I begin to sink in to the infinite depths of the sleep. I think this is the best part of anyone's sleep. Do you agree?

Unfaithful

Why do people betray their dear ones? Why can’t they be loyal to their faithful ones? It is very naive to blame it on circumstances or on situations. Are we dolls to be played by a certain stupid kid called "Circumstances"? I am not comfortable with this idea. When betraying a relation, why can’t these people think about their dear ones? Will that not stop them committing the betrayal?

Just for some momentary pleasure, these people spoil a beautiful relation that is binded on mankind by trust and belief. Without trust nothing can work in this world. An employer should have faith in his employees, a husband should believe his wife, a student should believe in his teacher’s skills. If there is no belief, then the relationship would fail.

Is it not criminal to fool someone who has trusted you so much? Let the devil take such people!!!

Extra pay: Are the Managers cheating their employees?

Do the workers seriously need extra wages and the lucrative incentives? We all know that, there is no free food available in this world. So this boils down to a fundamental question: Why the managers are really paying to employees? Employee Welfare? Bull shit! Are we not talking about profits here for the management? The management looses little to gain heavily. By loosing some extra rupees, they gain the confidence, loyalty, trust of their employees. Also, the employees may be forced to work for a little more time. The poor chaps don't even identify the trap they were put in. In the smart world of management, the managers boast it is the Win Win situation. Very true, the question to be asked is:Who is Winning?

To be or not to be

Sometimes people feel that u are incapable or inefficient if u remain silent. "Silence is golden"--that's what we think while others may take that as our weakness. It's good to follow Gandhi but it also tells people that u are a timid, though that's not the truth. How should one react to such circumstances? I am talking abt such cases, where ur own friend may desert u thinking that u are not capable. It is good to ignore such friends. But will it lead to ignoring everybody? Very few want to live in isolation. Afterall, no one wants to be a solitary weeper.

Every one likes to lead a life that is filled with love, peace and harmony. But some times people react strangely with others, making others wondering what happened to this chap?Well, what happened to this chap?. Every thing has a reason. This guy might have had some bitter happennings. People should cooperate with guys. If you shoulder him in such testing moments, you win the love of these guys. Afterall, the thing which has happened to him, might happen to you tomorrow.

Almighty

Am I going to discuss about Jim Carrey's role in Bruce, the Almighty? Nopes. Well, it's opportune to post my views abt the Almighty which many believe to rule the man kind. Am I one among that group? Well, if you ask me, I really don't know what I would say. Sometimes I may agree and sometimes I may not. To be honest, I really don't know where I stand! If Almighty exists, then why humanity is put to such pains and trauma. Are we some dolls to be played by a mad kid called Almighty, who has completely lost its senses. That means almighy is definitely not a good factor alone. Similarly, I can argue that Almighty isn't a bad factor. This means the so called Almighty, is a mere spectator of the events. Almighty is all powerful but still powerless-it's interpretaion should be taken as an oxymoron to it's dictionary meaning.
